En medio de un cerco policiaco y militar, así se vive el ingreso de la caravana migrante a México
Durante 15 minutos, decenas de personas que integran la caravana migrante, superaron un bloqueo de policías y militares en la frontera guatemalteca de Tecún Umán y lograron su objetivo de cruzar a México, en su intento por llegar a Estados Unidos.
Desde temprano, integrantes de la caravana, ya habían decidido que intentarían ir en grupo al puente internacional que une Guatemala con México donde se encuentra el cruce entre ambos países.
Un grupo de migrantes colocó por delante a niños y mujeres para encabezar la marcha masiva que logró superar una valla de policías antidisturbios y militares que se apostaron con vehículos blindados frente al portón que antecede la frontera sur del territorio mexicano.
Lanzaron piedras, zapatos y todo lo que encontraban a su paso, mientras otros suplicaban que los dejeran ingresar.
No obstante, en México se han instalado aduanas fronterizas en un intento de regular la entrada de personas a territorio mexicano.
Se estima que unos cuatro mil migrantes hondureños participan en esta caravana que salió el pasado sábado 13 de octubre de la ciudad de San Pedro Sula, en el norte de Honduras, tras una convocatoria divulgada por redes sociales.
Los hondureños intentan escapar de la violencia y pobreza que enfrentan en el país centroamericano.
